New Headquarters

Caribtrans has purchased a new facility sitting on 5.5 acres of fenced and
secured land that includes a 50,000-square foot warehouse with 30 dock height
doors and two vehicle ramps. The site also includes 11,000 square feet of
high-tech office space.
"We purchased this property because it suits the needs of our operation
perfectly and will make us more efficient than ever well into the
future", said Manny Sola, Caribtrans president. Caribtrans has been
serving the Caribbean market since 1985, specializing in
less-than-container-load, or LCL cargo both by ocean and air service.
This move will allow appropriate growth in the years to come. As our business
expands so will our facility as it is situated in enough land to allow for
expansion of the facilities. In making this move we took into consideration
what our customers needed and what we could do to meet those needs. For
example, we have restructured our receiving procedure to ensure that
delivering carriers are handled quicker than ever before, we have set up our
loading department for minimal travel of freight when loading of our
containers, thus minimizing or eliminating the chance of misloads and/or
damages. All this and more, in an effort to provide our loyal customers with
a shipping company they can call home.
